Mr. Penfold

This is the artist Mr. Penfold 

What I think about his work is that it's very comical in a way to me because it's the type of art style I like  to work in. I love the bright colours and the bold outline because it creates a simple style to it and personally I don't think its hard to do.

In the image there are two main things which is a blue person with a 'J' shaped nose, two toned orange  striped shirt, pink cheeks and a mask that only covers the eyes but you can see the eyes, something like the teenage ninja turtles. Next to the person there is a dog type person like goofy from Disney with three eyes in a black background.

This was based in the east of London on a garage gates. The dog person on the left of the image is another artist called Numskull, which makes sense for the art because of the hollow head shape.

 This work was the first I saw from the artist Mr. Penfold and it was just mind blowing for me because all I kept on saying was "That's so cool" because to me it's so eye catching because of the bold simple colours. I went on his Blog (http://www.mrpenfold.com)  and I saw this and then again the first thing I said was "That's cool" because it gave me time to figure what was he going for which was either a robber because of the black and white strips or a ghetto teenager because of the cap and the bandana.
